Every year I take a big motorcyle road trip. This year I toured the Southwestern United States looking for weird roadside attractions and oddities on my way to Ocean Beach for 10 days of surfing. I took a whole bunch of pictures, obviously, but I also shot some companion video to help remind me later where exactly I was at, etc. So, I spliced all the pictures together with the video to make an quick(ish) slide show...
Part 3 takes me from Ocean Beach, CA to Denver, CO by way of Phoenix, AZ and Moab, UT.

This was our second small-town soul-winning marathon in which we travel to a small Arizona town to knock every door in the town in one day, preaching the Gospel to every person who will listen.
The town of Miami has a population of about 1,900 and with 24 of our people in attendance, we were able to knock every single door in the town by the end of the day! We had a total of 26 people saved!
Our last marathon was held in Gila Bend, AZ, where we had 16 people in attendance and a total of 27 people saved!

Let's joget with the grannies...
We were at my Uncle's house in Pedas, and then in Port Dickson. My aunts and mum danced (or joget) whenever they feel like doing so. At the end of the vid are some of the pics at Port Dickson beach resort.

A commercial van carrying 12 passengers Sunday evening lost control and rolled over on Interstate 8 near Gila Bend, killing three people.
Officials from the Arizona Department of Public Safety said at least six others were taken by helicopter to local hospitals.
Two people had minor injuries in the 7:30 p.m. crash, officials said.
There were no reports of children being in the van.
DPS officials said the identities of the driver and passengers and the company's name are being withheld until family members can be notified of their deaths.
Traffic in the area was restricted to allow helicopters in and out and DPS officers to investigate.

In January of this year, at a meeting of the Engineers Club of Sun City, Arizona. A.P.S. ( the local power company) gave a presentation in which they explained their plans to build such a plant south of Phoenix , below Gila Bend. They were very upbeat about it's possibilities. Maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel!-----
