11 listopada w Łubiance odbył się XII Bieg Niepodległości. Na liście startowej znalazło się niemal 500 osób, a sklasyfikowanych na mecie było 416 biegaczy.
Trasa biegu liczyła 11 kilometrów o nawierzchni asfaltowo-gruntowej i wiodła przez Łubiankę, Bierzgłowo, Zamek Bierzgłowski, Leszcz i Pigżę.
W klasyfikacji generalnej zwyciężył Marek Wojtas z Tucholi (35,02 min). Drugie miejsce zajął Tomasz Drąg (KM Truchcik Łubianka - 35,15), a trzeci był Kamil Sieracki (Zawisza Bydgoszcz - 35,30).
Wśród kobiet najlepsza okazała sie Arleta Meloch (Olimpia Grudziądz - 39,38), przed Andżeliką Dzięgiel (Maratonypolskie.pl - 42,51) i Anną Arseniuk (Torec Toruń - 45,23).
