My Uncle Wilbert, took his talent to the grave with him. He was a Great...singer, song writer! He really could have been big, had he just had a little better luck. This is one of his tunes called...Walk Alone. I loved to hear him sing, he was one of the best, too bad, he never made it. His stage name was Dave Crowe, some of you from Louisville may recognize that name. He sang on a local television show called, The Hayloft Hoedown back in the early 60's. I can still remember it, like it was Yesterday. Man...I was so....proud. I thought for sure, that he was on his way but, things got in the way. Uncle Wilbert, I love you man, and this one's for you. I hope you guys enjoy this tune.
Thanks, Allen.

Sunday Silence scored a two-and-a-half-length upset victory over Easy Goer in the 115th Kentucky Derby today at Churchill Downs, but the only thing that seemed right about the race was that the two best colts beat the others.
This had shaped up as an extraordinarily good Derby, a virtual match race between two special colts, and those with a piece of Sunday Silence or a bet on him were delighted by the outcome. But many in the crowd of 122,653 seemed dazed and unsatisfied with the way the showdown unfolded.
Both colts had traffic problems. Sunday Silence weaved strangely through the stretch as he shied from his rider's whip. Easy Goer's jockey said his colt had failed to handle the track or fire his best shot. The time of the race was the slowest in 31 years, and fewer than 10 lengths separated the first dozen finishers, who had figured to finish much farther apart.
Sunday Silence, who paid $8.20 for $2 to win as the second favorite and ran the mile and a quarter under Pat Valenzuela in 2:05 on a track labeled ''muddy,'' took the lead turning for home and ran a crooked course to the wire while well clear of the field. Easy Goer passed four rivals in the final furlong to be second, a head in front of Awe Inspiring, with whom he was coupled as the Shug McGaughey-trained entry that was favored at 4-to-5.
Dansil, who forced Easy Goer to alter course through the stretch, was fourth, a nose ahead of Hawkster. Northern Wolf, Irish Actor, Houston, Triple Buck, Shy Tom, Wind Splitter, Flying Continental, Clever Trevor, Faultless Ensign and Western Playboy completed the finish in that order. Notation was scratched in mid-afternoon.
Sunday Silence may well turn out to be the better of the two favorites who clashed today, but this was a Derby that seemed to demand a rematch. If he and Easy Goer come out of the race uninjured, they might meet again in the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico on May 20. If Sunday Silence wins that race and the Belmont Stakes at Belmont Park on June 10, he will earn $5 million and become the first winner of racing's Triple Crown since Affirmed in 1978.
Sunday Silence, a son of Halo and the Understanding mare Wishing Well, has now won five of seven career starts. He lost photo finishes in his two other races and is 4 for 4 as a 3-year-old. He came into the Derby off an 11-length romp in the Santa Anita Derby on April 8, and is the fourth straight Kentucky Derby winner to have prepped in that race.
Twice spurned by buyers at auctions, Sunday Silence races in the colors of Arthur B. Hancock 3d, who raised him at his Stone Farm in Paris, Ky. Hancock owns 50 percent of the colt and Charlie Whittingham, the trainer, and Dr. Ernesy Gaillard, a Louisville surgeon, each own a 25 percent interest. Whittingham Confident
''If ever a horse could win the Triple Crown, this one could,'' said Whittingham, 76, who also sent out Ferdinand to win the 1986 Derby. ''He was green today and he still won. He's learning all the time.''
Easy Goer, who had been widely regarded as a likely Triple Crown winner and was sent off as the first odds-on Derby favorite in 10 years, simply did not run as well as he had in winning all three of his preps this spring.
''He never grabbed hold of the bit like he has in his other races this year,'' said Pat Day, his jockey, who had ridden five straight winners on the card going into the Derby. ''I really don't know why.''
''It seemed like he had a little trouble handling the race track down the backstretch,'' said McGaughey. ''But I'm not making excuses. You have to congratulate Charlie and Sunday Silence.''
