After CW44AC's #106 and #77 start highballing through Catlettsburg, I run under the tracks at the nearby tunnel to greet a GP and an AC4400CW as they pull a mixed freight off from WV, only to stop a few miles up. About 3 minutes into the video, you can hear me running under the tunnel again to meet an SD and another engine as they pull another coal train up the bridge, only to stop somewhere afterwards with part of their train still in Kentucky. Sorry for the poor lighting, but it was down past 7:30PM when the first train started going, and I was using a Kodak Easyshare (my mom's) to capture all of this. Big meet though!

After a crew change, CW44AC's #106 and #77 make their way through Catlettsburg pulling a long tow of empty coal cars. Engineer didn't seem too happy when I talked to him, but he gave an extra blast on the horn for me. Just because I'm special. :D
Didn't tape much from here, because I went under the track (tunnel) and got ready for another train heading westbound from WV.

After the big meet down at the Junction, we started back home up State Rt. 23 in Catlettsburg. Suddenly, the lights of CSX SD70MAC's 728 and #742 appear at the corner, horns going, I tried to get some video out the sunroof of my dad's car, but he pulled over for me to get a video of it crossing by the ballfields. Bad reaction timing for me. Lol

Holding short of the Big Sandy Junction in Catlettsburg, KY, AC4400CW #106 holds for a crew change and sits at idle for a while. About 20 minutes later, her last crew member would come in to help haul the string of unloaded coal cars down into the coal fields of Eastern KY somewhere.
Could someone explain to me what the clicking noise I heard was? It looked like it was water being sprayed out of the side onto the tanks, but I couldn't figure it out.

Not 20 minutes after the coal train on #538, this train came by. I was rushing out my friend's back yard to the sound of a different horn, so that's why you see trees at the start. Leading with AC4400CW #168 and #330. (Yes, there are a lot of AC4400CW's out our way, I guess.
