Here is the briefing:
This scenario is a fictional scenario i made using realistic consists and headcodes. In this scenario:
Morning Driver,the DMU has packed up today,so instead we've decided to use 47470 "University Of Edinburgh". It was stabled on Thornaby overnight and needs to get back north to Tyne Yard for 7:45. You need to drive this loco on the 06:00 departure from Darlington and you need to make sure that you are at Newcastle for 06:50 to ensure you can get to TY on time.
Just so you know the driver of 6N21,the Jarrow tanks ahead of you has reported Signal N164 is a failure. This is located just outside Darlington,so for the first 4 miles you are restricted to 35mph. It should be showing a red aspect. When you arrive at it stop. Call the signal box (Press the Tab button) and request permission to pass signal at danger. When you have permission proceed at 40mph until the next signal and then you can proceed at normal speeds. Have a good run!

TFI FRIDAY SUMO WRESTLERS
Friday 16th May 1997
Two sumo wrestlers one in a red mawashi for Middlesborough, one in blue for Chelsea, were used to predict the outcome of the FA Cup Final. On the show that night were Sinead O'connor (whose telephone number did she have written on her hand?), John Barnes, Gazza, Fun Loving Criminals, Faith No More and a girl with two epiglotii. We all went to Stringfellows afterwards, had lots of champagne and I woke up in a girl's flat the next morning in rather a state (I know her name but I don't kiss and tell). A good night was had by all. If you look my Mawashi (red) was actually coming off, now that would have been very embarassing.
