Burlington Airport landing:
Zenair CH-300 My landing at the Burlington Airport, CZBA, Ontario. This video approach starts just before turning final. The weather was cooperating that day. I have a longer movie in making about this flight. This aircraft is a Zenair CH-300. It it a homebuilt (experimental, special) category aircraft, all aluminum construction. It was built in 1977. It's power plant is a Lycoming O-320, 150 HP engine, with a two-blade 74" McCauley metal propeller. It has a basic day/night VFR instruments, all engine gauges are analog.

I had the idea to film the inside of the Magic Hat Brewery, but I was suspicious that the folks there wouldn't want me to for some reason. Looking back on it now, it was probably silly to try to hide the camera. A very interesting place, and they make awesome brews! Try some if you are lucky enough to have it in your area!

My dad had a very sucessful day railfanning along the CP main on Thursday, October 25, 2007:
1.) BNSF empty unit coal (Train 883) with 3 SD70MACs (BNSF 8944, 9698, and 9482) leaving Portage, WI westbound.
2.) Same train at Weyh Road crossing west of Portage.
3.) Pacing same train west along Highway 16 nearing Wisconsin Dells.
4.) CP ES44AC 8817 and an NREX EMD leading eastbound manifest at Wisconsin Dells.
5.) Pacing and runby of CP ES44AC 8849 and AC4400CW 9610 leading another eastbound manifest a short time later just northwest of Wisconsin Dells. WARNING: TURN DOWN YOUR VOLUME FOR THE PACING SCENE. WIND NOISE REDUCTION WAS USELESS AGAINST THIS.
6.) Amtrak #8, the eastbound Empire Builder, racing across Wisconsin Street in Lyndon Station.
