I took a trip to Colorado near the end of my senior year of college at the University of Minnesota Duluth in May of 2007. I flew to Denver, Colorado and then the next day I drove to Rocky Mountain National Park and attempted to climb as far up Longs Peak, a Colorado "fourteener" as was practical considering the snow and the fact that I did not have an ice axe and/or crampons. Longs Peak is 14,259 feet, and I made it to Granite Pass, 12,080 feet up the mountain before I decided to turn back. I had arrived at the trail head an hour or two late (took a wrong turn right instead of left at Lyons and therefore went to Estes Park before I climbed Longs Peak which cost me probably the better part of two hours.) So the Boulder Field was the farthest I climbed.
These pictures were all taken by myself. I forgot to add one picture to the first video that I forgot to add before I rendered the video, so this is the same as the first video with one extra picture. Enjoy.
